Introduction to Information on Wildfire from Colorado Springs Fire Department 12/9/2025

 Good Day Friends and Neighbors,

My name is David Pechacek,

I am the representative for our neighborhood for the Fire Department.  I am the person that represents our neighborhood for the chipping progam. I have also been to a few of their town hall meetings.  The Fire Department has requested that occasionally information is shared with the neighborhood about being ready in case of emergency.  From time to time I will be posting different information about what to do, contact info, and other important information.  There are some changes being made in Colorado with regard to fire and how communities handle or approach wildfire. 

Please keep a look out for information on the neighborhood website and note down or save as much info as you like.  As a community we are going to try to be ready for the worst with a hope to prevent or minimize any potential hazards.  

The Colorado Springs Fire Department is taking an aggresive approach to being ready for the community they serve and would like to be a resource for the community. Please reach out for an on site consultation with the fire department about how to minimize risk at your home.
